As one who was born in Tillsonburg, went to kindergarten in Otterville, and had grandparents who owned a corner store in Delhi, Pastor Rick has old connections to the area. As a 7 year old he professed faith in Jesus as Lord and Saviour at an evening church service in Thamesford, and was baptized in the same church two years later. God planted seeds of ministry interest in his heart in those years, but it would be a long time before they sprouted.

As a teenager growing up in London, Rick was involved in summer camp ministry with Word of Life, and began to help in the AWANA club ministry.

As an emerging adult Rick began attending Plymouth Brethren assemblies. During this time he met and married his lovely wife Melanie (May 27, 2000). God blessed them with two children, Charlotte & Isaac, who both love the Lord. 

In 2010 Rick left the assemblies and started attending Grace Baptist Church in Alliston. After serving as an elder, they brought him on staff as the Associate Pastor in September 2016. During that time he earned a Graduate Diploma in Church Health and Evangelism from Heritage Seminary in Cambridge. His time at Grace came to an end in December 2020. 

God led him to Waterford Bible Church, where he began ministering in November 2021. God’s blessing is evident in this ministry.
